All SNL 2021 slide and slide slam presenters must prepare a presentation prior to the meeting. All Slide and Slide Slam presentations are “simulated live” presentations in which the pre-recorded video presentation is played on a live Zoom webinar with the presenter and attendees in attendance. During the presentation, attendees can pose questions via chat. A Question and Answer period will follow.<\/strong><\/p>\n

To present at SNL 2021, all presenters must upload their presentation files to their SNL Account by September 14, 2021.<\/strong> <\/em>If you have not uploaded your presentation files by September 14, your abstract will be withdrawn and removed from the SNL 2021 meeting.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The uploaded video can be at any resolution, but a resolution of HD (1280 x 720) will load and play faster than a larger file. To make SNL 2021 as accessible as possible, we require that all video presentations be captioned. For instructions on preparing and uploading your presentation, please see <\/a>Preparing Your Presentation<\/a>.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

You can upload revisions to your presentation files as often as you like through the upload deadline. Uploading a new presentation file will overwrite your previously uploaded file.<\/p>\n

Slide Presentations<\/h2>\n

Required: Video Presentation<\/strong> \u2013 You must upload a video in .mp4 format that does not exceed 15 minutes in length<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Video Upload Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a0Your completed and captioned <\/em>video must be uploaded to your SNL Account no later than September 14, 2021.<\/p>\n

Slide Slam Presentations<\/h2>\n

Required: Video Presentation <\/strong>\u2013 You must upload a video in .mp4 format that does not exceed 5 minutes in length<\/strong>. This is crucial \u2013 to stay within a very busy schedule, we will play only the first 5 minutes of submitted presentations in the Slide Slam session.<\/p>\n

Video Upload Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a0Your completed and captioned<\/em> video must be uploaded to your SNL Account no later than September 14, 2021.<\/p>\n

Optional: Supporting Documentation <\/strong>\u2013 Slide Slam presenters have the option of uploading ONE additional PDF containing supporting information about their presentation. The PDF file must be less than 20MB in size. Attendees can view your PDF on the website and download it for viewing in a viewer of their choice.<\/p>\n

PDF Upload Deadline:<\/strong> Your final PDF must be uploaded to your SNL Account no later than September 14, 2021.<\/p>\n

Emeritus status would entitle the member to receive a discounted registration rate equal to the Student Member <\/em>rate at the time of registration. To receive the discounted rate, you must be a current SNL member.\n

Registration Refund Policy<\/h2>\nRegistration fees will be refunded minus a $50 handling fee, provided the request for refund is received by SNL no later than August 25, 2020. No refunds will be issued after August 25, 2020. Refund requests must identify the registrant\u2019s name, email address, membership level, and amount paid.
