Airport Information

Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport, 16 km (10 miles) away from downtown Québec City, can be reached via boulevard Wilfrid-Hamel (138) or autoroute Duplessis (540). Train information

You can get to Québec City via train. VIA Rail Canada is the Canadian train company. There is daily service between Toronto, Ottawa, Montréal and Québec City. For more information, call 1-888-842-7245.

Visitors traveling by train from the US, come into Montréal via Amtrak then transfer to VIA Rail Canada trains for Québec City. For more information, call 1-800-USA-RAIL (1-800-872-7245).

There are two train stations in Québec City:

Gare du Palais (Central Station)–located only 1.2 KM from the convention centre (5 minute taxi ride; 15 minute bus ride or 25 minutes walk)

Ground Transportation

From the Québec City Jean-Lesage International Airport, public transit services provide easy access to downtown or any other location in town.

Taxi

From the YQB terminal to downtown Québec City or from downtown Québec City to YQB, a taxi ride will cost you around $34.25 CAN (≈$28 USD, 22 Euros). You can also use the taxi to get around the city. Here are some taxi companies that serve both the airport and the City:

Uber

Uber is available at Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport. It can also be used to get around the City.

Public Transport

To explore the city, simply walk around or take a city bus.

Bus route No. 78 offered by Réseau de transport de la Capitale (RTC) serves the Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport Monday through Friday in the early morning from the terminus Les Saules and in the late afternoon to the terminus Les Saules.
